This composite image honestly represents the view even after 17 years. Surprising in a fast growing state like Kerala isn’t it? The Fig tree in the foreground left has become a huge one by now. Thick foliage and undergrowth blocks the view now and hence I cannot shoot a more recent image from ground level. Either I should clear the foliage to make way for a clear view or use a drone to shoot from a little above.

Did you notice that the view is not just a river flowing past the plot (haven’t we seen that a million times before?). A tribal tree-house or a rustic bamboo platform sort of pavilion. Imagine doing yoga,meditation or reading,writing a poem lying in a hammock up there ‘nestled within the Fig tree’!).

The right wing of the view where the Chalakkudy river is flowing towards the plot.
During monsoons it is such an exhilarating experience to watch the rains casting a spell on the vast plains of the river. And with every kind of rain the experience differs too.
Moon-lit nights can get particularly romantic with the river carrying the golden shimmer across the river and beyond the horizon.

This is the original plot sketch we got while purchaisng this plot way back in 2006 from Parakkadavu Village Office.
Please note that riverside is 17.3 meters ans is wider by more than five meters from the frontage which is 12.2 meters.
Frontage is opening to a ‘Panchayath’ road that is also a bus route.
The L shaped plot offer more space closer to the river so that any construction can have two parts either one facing each wing of the river. It is more like a butterfly.
The red spot is where the plot exactly is. The green spot is the entrance to the Cochin International Airport (CIAL),The aerial distance is 8.9 kms. The shortest drive is 12.5kms.
Trace the Chalakkudy river on google map to understand how sharp is the U turn it takes by the plot offered. That makes all the difference you will realise. I am clearly asking for a premium price therefore!
